I can only have 1 cup of coffee a day, otherwise, I become a jittery mess. I actually get fluttery in my chest and an unpleasant giddy feeling. I rarely take coffee after 3pm for the very same reason. Don’t get me wrong, I love it… well maybe that is a bit of strong declaration.

I’m definitely not one of those people who can’t function in the morning without a cup though. I’m not a coffee snob. I don’t know my instants from my grounds or my beans from well… whatever else. Much like my approach to wine, I know what I like and I drink that.
But if I could get that kick without the jitters than I’d certainly replace it. That’s what interested me so much about these 6 alternatives to coffee. My brother gave me a juicer for Christmas last year and James and I started juicing up a storm… for a few months at least.
I never honestly gave the Juices/ Smoothies a serious thought as to replacing coffee or caffeine but as my body can sometimes go into a panic attack from too much caffeine from either coffee or energy drinks I think its something I am going to have to pay closer attention to !
