Some days, my inbox is full of spam and newsletters and other days it’s filled with something truly special. On days like this, when something utterly gorgeous unfolds in an email, I get so giddy I squeal!
My obsession with weddings and all things beautiful is no secret and that is why, today, I am so delighted to be able to share with you all something that is utterly obsessive and beautiful! Even if you’re not planning a wedding you’ll appreciate the gorgeousness of this wedding photo shoot! Believe me!
Sneak Peak… Boho Meets Lavender
Take a breath…
This shoot is described [perfectly] as Luxe Boho meets Lavender. The creative collective who designed and styled this shoot used words like elegantly ethereal, feminine and fairy tale when they reached out to see if I’d be interested in featuring it. They talked about the rustic country setting, with contemporary & textured influences from the likes of Morocco and to be honest I wondered would it all work?!
The setting is utterly fairytale like!
It’s dreamy in its chocolate box facade and flowered meadows. Perfect for small intimate weddings and elopements. And while pictured on a spring day I can imagine this being equally cosy and delightful in the depths of winter. [Imagine a fresh carpet of snow?!]
Adorned Wedding Invitations
For me, a wedding always starts with the invitation. It sets the tone and theme for the wedding and gives the guests their very first glance at what to expect from a couple’s big day. The invitations, designed beautifully for this shoot really do set a magical start and glimpse into what to expect.
After the invites, the next most exciting thing about a wedding is the style!
Wait until you see what the bride is wearing! A sensational Nicole Spose gown with the lace backing, which features a subtly embellished bodice with an illusion neckline, beaded floral embroidery, and delicate lace appliqués that cascade into a tulle skirt. This is a real statement wedding dress!
An Outdoor Boho Lavender Wedding Reception
At your wedding reception, you have an opportunity to wow your [capture] audience, I mean guests. For 2-3 hours your guests will be seated at their dining tables as they indulge themselves on your wedding breakfast. Don’t miss the opportunity to excite their senses, their taste buds and also their eyes!
Take inspiration from this stunning setting and see how to incorporate interesting and unusual features with different textures and cultures to create a unique wedding table setting.
When all is said and done, and the excitement of the day is winding down, for some, they turn to thinking about finding their own significant other. And I can confirm that a special someone on this shoot is still available…
What is your favourite part of this Boho Lavender Wedding Shoot? For me, it’s the white henna hand detail! I LOVE this unusual feature on the bride. Let me know your favourite in the comments below!
