My top tips for planning your Valentine’s date:
1. Start Early with your planning
It’s a very busy day/night for couples to do something. Most conceivable date ideas/ options book up early for the day. As do the weekends either side.
2. Be 100% sure your date/S.O. is available.
Check with your S.O. that they are available for your plans before you book them. You don’t have to say what you’re doing if you prefer to keep it a surprise, but definitely, do tell the times/dates and what is appropriate to wear.
3. Pick a date you’ll both enjoy
As I say in the video. Valentine’s is about reconnecting and spending time together. Enjoying each others company. That’s difficult to do if you hate what you’re doing or absolutely terrified.
4. DO NOT forget the card.
A present and or flowers are always nice to receive. But they’re not essential. A card [or a form there of] is. A card is something that can be treasured and re-read long after the great date has passed.
5. Reconfirm all your plans a few days before Valentine’s Day.
Because its a busy date day/night/ time for many businesses the last thing you want is to discover a double booking when you arrive and for you and your date to be disappointed.
So how are you going to spend Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments below. I’m still not sure because I don’t know when James’ is yet. BUT You can be sure it will be something lovely for us and most definitely include cake – 😉
